McDonald's One Hot Holiday Sweepstakes
I was excited to help the team at Arc develop one of McDonald’s biggest promotions of the year, a partnership with Xbox One. The tie-in with the holiday season's hottest release helped drive sales of their habanero-spiced Quarter Pounders and Chicken Wraps and establish themselves as a legitimate player in the spicy-food category.
The sweeps featured peel off stickers on featured menu items. To add to the excitement, every game piece was a winner.
The sweepstakes was heavily promoted in-store and on-packaging, offering the chance to win one of thousands of Xbox One game consoles plus secondary prizes including Xbox games, online gaming memberships and McDonald’s menu items.
Peel-off game pieces on featured menu items contained a code to be entered online.
Customers could easily enter their code via their mobile device to instantly see what they’d won.
Dedicated web pages featured sizzle videos for Xbox One, while also showcasing the habanero-spiced Quarter Pounder and Chicken Wrap.
